XSelectronics Guitar Voice Controllers are custom FX management systems that are designed and assembled to meet individual requirements. The two basic configurations are a traditional floor based FX board and a more sophisticated rack mounted switching system, which is remotely controlled via midi. Both types feature various options for controlling FX as well as the potential to switch amp channels, FX loops, reverb, boost & mute functions etc. All modules offered are chosen for their reliability, build quality and ease of use and their suitability is based on personal experience of their roadworthiness. Custom length cabling looms and flightcasing is included and programming demonstrations can also be arranged if necessary

A large number of FX or the need for greater flexibility of switching options sometimes mean that using a traditional floor based FX board is impractical and a rackmounting switching system is usually required. All system modules and FX units are housed in a standard 19" rack and sleeve flightcase and are controlled remotely from a fully programmable foot controller. FX pedals are mounted on sliding trays, which allows full access for fine tuning of settings.

Some artists are uncomfortable with the concept of an offstage location for FX units, while others prefer to have pedals etc within reach during performance for fine tuning on-the-fly. Whatever the reason, a well organized FX system can make this easier- as well as providing an improvement in sonic quality. A degree of programming is also possible if required, although options are more limited than those offered by a full switching system.
